About T.I.E. Tags
T.I.E. stands for Tap Information in an Emergency. Each physical tag links to an online profile containing the information its owner chooses to share.
A T.I.E. Tag can be worn on an armband or attached to a bag, collar, keyring or piece of equipment. With their phone awake and unlocked, a finder simply holds it close to the tag—just like making a contactless payment. On most modern iPhones and Android phones, the tag’s information page will then open automatically in the web browser. No app is needed.
The owner decides what appears there. That might include emergency contacts, medical conditions, allergies, medication, an address or a short message for the person who found them.
How it works
NO special app, NO battery, NO subscription, NO charging required.
01
Wear the armband or fasten the keyring to a bag, clothing, collar or equipment.
02
With the phone awake and unlocked, hold it close to the T.I.E. Tag.
03
The phone opens the information selected for that individual tag.
Information saved to a tag is visible to anyone who scans it, so owners should only include information that could help them in an emergency.
The finder opens a straightforward page rather than needing to install an app.
The tag owner can sign in and change the information whenever life changes.
Every individual tag can store any information based on what its owner wants a finder to know.
